i just got the pattern for the coat and i need to paint the goggles and rubber boots. (because i don’t have enough money to buy fancy white boots) what paint should i use to get decent looking boots, will i need to get more fabric than the pattern says?
and one last thing, do you have any more photos of the costume?

Hi Ana,

I picked up a pair of used coveralls from the local Army/Navy surplus store near my college, cut off the sleeves, and replaced the buttons with a zipper. So I didn’t find them in a store exactly as seen in my picture. However, there are plenty of places that sell unlined coveralls with zippers in them. Removing the sleeves can be accomplished with a seam ripper, and the edges folded in and sewn closed. The military styles, without the zippered pockets, seem closest.

I’m considering playing Kaylee at dragon con, O’m having tons of trouble finding coveralls. Where did you get those?
